Welcome to Cinema Sinner, a blog where I post film reviews and longer features where I aim to look at cinema as means of reflecting brokenness and salvation.

Since we live in a world that is broken, sin is inescapable from our lives, but we have been shown by the example of Jesus Christ that it can be overcome, there is hope for all of us. I believe that art has the power to reflect both the reality of our sin as well as our redemptive hope, and cinema as a visual language can unite our failures and triumphs like no other form. Here I want share my passion for this art and offer my personal insight into the soul enriching wisdom that it can bring.

“God allows us to experience the low points of life in order to teach us lessons that we could learn in no other way.” ― C.S. Lewis
